Wheaten Chaff

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Wheaten chaff is produced from the wheat stubble or hay portion of a wheat crop. Chaffing results in a fibrous flake approximately 2cm in width. Wheaten chaff is used as a source of fibre (roughage) in the diet.

Wheaten chaff is widely used in horse and stud cattle rations and on occasion feedlot rations. Although it usually becomes cost prohibitive to include in feedlot rations.

Wheaten chaff can be included in diets for breeding pigs as a source of fibre. Only a small percentage would be required.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Wheaten chaff can be included in the diets of cattle, sheep, goats, horses and pigs as part of a balanced diet.

• Use the following guidelines for maximum inclusion rates in the diets.
