VVRS COTTON / MINERAL PELLETS are suitable for feeding to beef and dairy cattle as a supplementary feed in times of poor pasture quality, or diminishing pasture supply.

VVRS COTTON / MINERAL PELLETS provides by-pass protein, readily available protein, minerals and vitamins. It is suitable for dairy replacement heifers to ensure optimal growth or for dry cows that are in low body condition. (Note: Within the last 4 weeks prior to calving VVRS MILK MAKER SPRINGER PELLETS are recommended).Can be used to complement bail feeding to lift the intake of bypass protein and minerals to high producing dairy cows. Consult your VVRS nutritionist for assistance to achieve the most cost effective option for your farm when using VVRS COTTON / MINERAL PELLETS.

COMPOSITION

Cottonseed meal, bran and pollard, cereal grains, urea, molasses, vegetable oil, limestone, sodium bentonite, dicalcium phosphate, salt, VVRS ruminant vitamin & mineral premix.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE FEED. It must be fed along with hay, silage and/or pasture.

• Listed below are some feeding rates for VVRS COTTON / MINERAL PELLETS.

• NOTE: These feeding rates should only be used as a guide. The level of feeding will be determined by pasture quality and animal condition.

TECHNICAL RELEVANCE

VVRS COTTON / MINERAL PELLETS consist of by-pass protein in the form of cottonseed meal, a small amount of urea to supply some readily available nitrogen to the rumen microbes and balanced levels of calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and minerals.
